Our online coaching and mentoring service has been designed specifically for early educators, teachers and youth workers providing direct support to children with a history of trauma or complex neuro-developmental needs.
Professionals can book a one-off consultation or a series of 1–2 hour mentoring sessions with a Complex Care clinician. Whether you're seeking guidance for a specific student, classroom challenge or broader practice question, our sessions provide a collaborative space to reflect, problem-solve and build confidence.

Our clinicians come from backgrounds in psychology, social work, family therapy and behaviour support, each with more than a decade of experience supporting children with complex behaviours and developmental needs. We combine contemporary research with practical experience to provide mentoring that is collaborative, reflective and immediately useful.
Educator Mentoring provides personalised case-consultations and guidance for educators supporting children and young people with complex behaviours or needs. These sessions provide a space to discuss children’s presentations, make sense of the behaviours in the context of underlying needs and lagging skills, and explore practical strategies through a trauma, attachment and neurodevelopmental lens.
Sessions are designed for teachers, teacher-aides, early childhood/OSHC educators and other professionals providing direct support to children and young people.
Educator Mentoring is available in one or two-hour online sessions, depending on your needs.
You can discuss a specific situation, behaviour or challenge involving a child or young person you support. This might include escalating behaviours, emotional regulation, relational difficulties, neurodevelopmental needs, trauma-related presentations, or strategies that don’t seem to be working.
Yes. Sessions provide a confidential space to discuss challenges and reflect on your practice. There are limits to confidentiality where disclosure is required by law if there are serious concerns relating to an individual’s safety or the safeguarding of children.
Yes. A key purpose of Educator Mentoring is to help you make sense of the behaviours and underlying needs of the children you support and provide you with evidence-based strategies. Identifying information should only be shared where appropriate and in accordance with your organisation’s privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Yes. You can book a one-off consultation (1 hour or 2 hour) for a particular situation or challenge, or access ongoing mentoring if you would benefit from continued support.
No. While you may develop new knowledge, perspectives and strategies through mentoring, these sessions are personalised consultations rather than structured or accredited professional development or training.
