NDIS Services
Complex Care is a registered NDIS provider and specialises in the provision of Therapy, Assessments and Specialist Behaviour Support to clients with complex needs.
Since commencing our practice in 2008, Complex Care has been supporting clients with a diverse range of cognitive, psychological and neurodevelopmental issues. Complex Care specialises in supporting participants with complex behavioural support needs, particularly those who have a history of relational trauma and disrupted attachment.
Complex Care takes a holistic, person-centred and neuro-science informed approach to supporting participant’s development, and we believe that a strong and safe therapeutic relationship with the participant and their supports, is critical to achieving positive outcomes. It is our philosophy that ‘people do well if they can’, and we view persistent maladaptive behaviours as generally resulting from cognitive, emotional and relational skill deficits or difficulties with trusting others.
We also believe that establishing an understanding of our client’s emotional experience and underlying needs, is fundamental to planning meaningful interventions and developing effective behaviour support plans.
We have a diverse team of experienced practitioners that include: psychologists, social workers, consultant family therapists, and specialist behaviour support practitioners.
All of our therapists are required to have a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting clients with complex behavioural needs and high-risk behaviours.
