Margie has worked over the past 10 years in both government and non-government organisations with children, adolescents, carers and families. Margie gained six years experience in child protection matters working with The Department of Communities, Child Safety Services. Margie has a degree in behavioural science, majoring in Psychology and has, through her therapeutic work with highly vulnerable clients, developed a strong strength-based, client centred framework. Margie has in the various roles had the opportunity to gain experience in supporting and improving outcomes for families and young people impacted by disability. Other roles have also included working with young people presenting in crisis, providing education and support to assist them to feel empowered to create change.”
