Vicky Mohajerin

Child & Family Therapist


Vicky has a 15-year experience in working with families and their children from a strength based framework. She has been practicing from a trauma informed approach and has worked as a child and family therapist in sexual assault and domestic violence services and private practice. During her career, Vicky has worked in a range of roles within the welfare sector including counsellor, child therapist, on-site Senior Counsellor in a DV Refuge and as a Coordinator for the Case Management Team. As a practitioner, Vicky has always aimed to create opportunities for her clients to rebuild a sense of control and empowerment. Vicky’s main therapeutic approaches involve narrative therapy, mindfulness and expressive therapies (such as sandplay therapy and symbol work) for children and adolescents.
