Viv has more than eight years’ work experience with children, adolescents and families across different settings and areas, including within the child protection system in Australia and offshore. Viv is particularly passionate about attachment-focused therapy, trauma-informed practice and compassion-focused therapy in her work with children and adults presenting with attachment disorders, significant trauma history and/or multiple and complex needs. Viv’s therapeutic framework involves Psychoeducation, Solution-Focused therapy, P.A.C.E. based interactions, and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy with carers, parents and children.
As a Child and Family Therapist, Viv is grounded, honest and fully concerned about her clients’ needs, wants and desires. Viv practices compassion with direction and always ensures that children, families and colleagues are provided with safety and support.
