Claire graduated as a Bachelor of Applied Psychology (Honours), and completed a two-year internship in statutory child protection (ACT). Claire has experience as an Applied Behavioural Analysis Therapist, working with Autistic children. Claire has worked in statutory child protection in the ACT and QLD since 2001, and has utilised strengths-based and solution-focused practice when working with children and families experiencing multiple traumas. Claire has an interest in promoting resilience, and utilising trauma and attachment theory-informed therapeutic approaches to assist children and young people to overcome adversity.
